TONY DERAMUS, DC, CCSP
Doctor of Chiropractic, Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician
Tony DeRamus is a 1998 graduate of Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas. Although he has spent his entire adult life involved in fitness and nutrition, it wasn’t until he decided to attend Chiropractic College that his passion turned into a career. Tony has now spent the last fourteen years helping and serving patients. During this time, he has been voted one of “America’s Top Chiropractors” on several occasions. He is the former chiropractor of the Houston Texans Cheerleading squad and is currently a member of the Houston Rodeo Sports Medicine Team.

LINDSEY THOMAS, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic, Webster Technique Certified
Chiropractic wasn’t something Dr. Thomas grew up with. She knew she wanted to go into healthcare, but wasn’t exactly sure what that was. “I found myself at a crossroads in life and then met a person who was going to chiropractic school. We sat down and talked about it over lunch, and it made me look into what chiropractic was all about.”
The idea of natural healing really made sense to Dr. Thomas, especially since she was also getting into nutrition, exercise, and wellness at that time. “It was amazing to me that there was a profession that truly recognized the body’s ability to heal on its own.” She now uses this philosophy on a daily basis to provide the highest quality of care to all of her patients.

CHANTELLE KEMPINSKI, DC, ICPA
Doctor of Chiropractic, ICPA Certified
Chantelle Kempinski graduated with honors from Life University in Marietta, GA in March 2013. While attending Life University, she also obtained her Diplomat in Pediatric Chiropractic through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Previous to chiropractic school, she attended Central Michigan University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Kinesiology.
Chantelle Kempinski has a strong passion for health and wellness, especially when it comes to family wellness. Her specialty in pregnancy and pediatrics allows her to help families achieve their optimal wellness through the education of chiropractic, nutrition, and exercise.

REBECCA KOOGLER, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic, Webster Technique Certified
Rebecca Koogler graduated with honors from Parker University in December 2020. While attending Parker University, she also obtained two Bachelor of Science degrees in Health and Wellness and Anatomy. She has also received additional training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association which includes certification in the Webster Technique.
Becca was raised in the DFW area where she played competitive volleyball for many years. She was able to stay healthy and recover from her injuries faster by seeing her chiropractor! This ultimately led to her becoming a chiropractor after she saw how chiropractic care could help people feel better and function optimally.
Outside of the office, Becca enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Bella, and spending time with her friends and family.

JILL CROCKER, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic, Webster Technique Certified
A resident of Montgomery County, Jill loves spending time with her husband, Greg, their two sons Grayson and Jace, along with their two dogs. She also enjoys playing golf, going to the gym, watching college football, and cheering on Houston’s sports teams.

GREG CROCKER, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic
Greg graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Health. In August of 2016, He graduated from Texas Chiropractic College where he also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology.
While attending TCC he did rotations with Rice University and their athletic program. After graduation, he spent his first year working in College Station with the former chiropractor of A&M Athletics. While there he got hands-on experience working with athletes at one of the nation’s top programs.
Outside of the office, Dr. Greg loves spending time with his wife Jill, his sons Grayson and Jace, and two dogs Beaux and Astro. He also enjoys playing golf, going to the gym, hunting, and cheering on the Houston Astros.

AGNES KAUFMAN, DC, BCN
Doctor of Chiropractic, Biofeedback Certification International Alliance
Agnes C. Kaufman is a 1991 graduate of National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. Her post graduate work and specialty is in acupuncture. She received her diplomat degree from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in December of 2011. “The body’s ability to heal and repair itself is truly amazing. Chiropractic care and acupuncture stimulate the innate ability of the body to heal itself naturally. It is so rewarding to able to participate in that process and see the transformation of someone with acute debilitating pain return to wellness.
When not in the office, Agnes enjoys jogging. In October, she completed the Houston Half Marathon. She also enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband, Phillip and their dog Peggy Sue.

KELSIE KEITH, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic
Kelsie graduated from Parker University in Dallas, Texas. While in chiropractic school, she traveled the world and learned about the global impact of chiropractic and its role in global health and wellness. Leading the World Congress of Chiropractic Students chapter on her campus, she went on to become a member of their International Board of Directors to help further chiropractic as a leader in global healthcare.
She spent her free time learning about how to care for expecting mothers and babies with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
Before chiropractic school, Kelsie attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas earning her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
Outside of the office Kelsie and Hunter, her husband, and their pup Pico like to spend time outside in the sun, fishing or finding new outside adventures with their families!
Born and raised in Montgomery, Texas, Kelsie knew she wanted to be a Sandstone chiropractor ever since her first adjustment at Sandstone. For her, being a chiropractor is more than a job, it’s being a health gladiator for each and every patient and person she comes in contact with. Kelsie is excited to bring her knowledge and passion about global health & wellness, family and prenatal care to her community.

ALLISON LAZO-PACHECO, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic
Allison received her Bachelor of Science from University of Dayton in 2015. She then went on to receive two additional Bachelor of Science Degrees and Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University in 2021. Allison was the recipient of the James W. Parker Chiropractic Philosophy Award in 2021. She is currently in the process of completing a Master of Functional Nutrition degree from Parker University.
Allison is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. She was introduced to chiropractic at the age of 16 through a dance injury. After seeing her recovery, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in chiropractic care. She enjoys empowering patients to have a voice in their care.
Allison is a self-proclaimed foodie so you can find her trying out new local restaurants, at Crossfit or a local competition. She enjoys lounging at home with her two puppies and traveling.

HALDEN MAYNARD, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic
Halden Maynard is a 2019 graduate of Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas. Before attending chiropractic school, he completed his undergraduate studies as a student athlete at Stephen F. Austin State University. While at SFA, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, and a minor in Health Science.
Growing up in Brenham, Texas, Halden visited his hometown chiropractor to help him stay healthy throughout his athletic career. Being an athlete and being familiar with how important a person’s overall health is on and off the field, he knew that he wanted to take on a role and help athletes stay on the field and off the bench.

MANDI SACHS, DC

Mandi Sachs has deep roots in this community and a strong passion for delivering exceptional care and promoting wellness for patients of all ages. Her personal experiences as a former Highstepper at The Woodlands High School, where she dealt with dance injuries and chronic headaches, have given her a unique perspective as a patient.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Mandi finds joy in reading books and spending quality time with her beloved cats and family. Her warm and compassionate approach, combined with her skillful techniques, sets the stage for a safe and nurturing environment at Sandstone.

GARRETT SMITH, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic
Garrett Smith is from the small town of Atlanta, Texas. He is a 2020 graduate of Parker University in Dallas, Texas. Before attending chiropractic school, Garrett received his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and a Minor in Fine Arts at Texas A&M University.
While in chiropractic school, Garrett was a leader in the Student Texas Chiropractic Association and served on chiropractic mission trips in El Salvador and Guatemala.
Garrett loves working with people of all ages. He has a passion to serve and a desire to make a positive impact on the community.
Outside of the office, he enjoys playing with his dog Benny and spending time with his family. Garrett is an avid tennis player, loves exploring local coffee shops and spending his time outdoors.

Controller
Candace is a Certified Public Accountant with 8 years of accounting experience. Prior to Sandstone, she spent 7 years in public accounting working for IPA Top 50 firm Whitley Penn and BrooksWatson & Co. She has experience with a diverse range of industries including state and local governments, not-for-profit organizations, publicly traded companies, educational institutions, and private companies.
In her free time, Candace enjoys serving with her church, coaching club basketball, spending time with her family, exercising, and watching Texas A&M football.

HELEN VIRGADAMO, Administrative
Director of Operations
Helen is a Certified Physician Practice Manager who began her career with Sandstone in 2015. She worked as a Chiropractic Assistant at Sandstone Chiropractic Magnolia for 4 years. She subsequently worked at Sandstone Family Medicine as the Case Manager for 1.5 years before becoming the Director of Operations.
Helen obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health from Texas A&M University. During her college career she discovered chiropractic care which ultimately led her to Sandstone. She was impressed by the mission, culture, and the opportunities provided to grow both personally and professionally. Ever since, she has absolutely loved being a part of the Sandstone team.
Outside of the office, Helen enjoys spending time with her family, serving at her church, and watching Texas A&M Football.

VIRGINIA RODRÍGUEZ PERLADO, MBA, INHC, AFMC
Master’s in Business Administration, Integrative Nutritional Health Coach
Virginia is a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach by the School of Applied Functional Medicine. She is also a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
Virginia’s certifications and experience gave her not only cutting edge knowledge about nutrition, lifestyle management, functional medicine and health optimization, but also the tools to serve people in a loving and unique way. Virginia is part for Sandstone’s Health Practitioners team and offers personalized health coaching programs to their patients.Virginia speaks Spanish, English and French and works with clients in several countries.

J. STEPHEN ROBINSON, MD, PhD, MPH
Medical Doctor, Doctor of Philosophy, Masters of Public Health
J. Stephen Robinson completed his undergraduate B.S. in Chemistry at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in upstate New York and enrolled in a combined M.D. – Ph.D program at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) where he completed my doctorate in Biological Chemistry in 1973 and obtained his medical diploma in 1975. Stephen stayed on at UCLA to complete a three-year residency in Pediatrics. While on the adjunct teaching staff of UCLA Medical School, he practiced Emergency Pediatric medicine and completed his Masters degree in Public Health with an emphasis on international health/nutrition. He and his family moved to Texas in January 2000.

VELDA DESADIER, M.Ed.
N.C.E.D. TEA Certified Educational Diagnostician
Velda Desadier, M.Ed. has been a Certified Educational Diagnostician in private practice since 2007. She holds a Masters Degree in Special Education and obtained her certification as a diagnostician through Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. In addition, she is registered with the Nationally Certified Educational Diagnostician, as well as with the Texas Educational Agency. Prior to beginning her private practice, she was a Special Education math resource teacher.
